Michael Lucci is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Platte Institute. He was previously the Vice President of State Projects at Tax Foundation and the Vice President of Policy at Illinois Policy Institute. Michael has served as a presidential appointee on the Federal Services Impasse Panel and as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy to the Governor of Illinois.

Michael was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and resides with his family in Leander, Texas. He previously worked as an educator and as an options trader. Michael received a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Arts and Sciences from the University of Notre Dame.
