Ryan Kopsa is the Director of Government Relations for the Platte Institute.
Originally from York, Nebraska, Ryan is passionate about limited government and advancing opportunities for all Nebraskans. While attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and following his graduation, Ryan worked full time for then-Governor Pete Ricketts as a member of his communications team.
In 2022, after more than five years in the Governor’s Office, Ryan became Campaign Manager for Mike Flood for Congress. In his current role, Ryan works with policymakers, stakeholders, and partners across Nebraska to advance policies that remove barriers to growth and opportunity and make Nebraska a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Ryan lives in Lincoln with his wife, Rylin, and their two children, Bella and Luca.
