For nearly 25 years, Mike Schuster has provided comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services, helping clients navigate market changes and achieve their goals through personalized, holistic strategies. His approach is rooted in understanding each individual’s unique needs and delivering the guidance they deserve.
Born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, Mike graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic before serving overseas in Europe as a proud United States Air Force veteran. After completing his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University in 1998 and later an MBA from the University of Nebraska in 2004.
Mike began his career with Principal Financial Group in 1998, later joining Wells Fargo Investments (now Wells Fargo Advisors) in 2001, and returning to Principal Securities in 2013. In 2017, while still working with Principal, Mike co-founded Schuster Anderson Wealth Advisors. He earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in March 2019.
Mike’s greatest joy comes from his family. He and his wife, Michelle, have three adult children—Hannah, Hailey, and Caden—and he treasures creating opportunities to spend time with them. Whether it’s relaxing at the lake, visiting them at their homes, or cheering them on in their personal and professional lives; family remains at the center of Mike’s life. In his free time, Mike enjoys golfing, running, and has taken up pickleball, adding another way to stay active and connected.
Mike is deeply committed to his community, having served with numerous local organizations, including Hall County Leadership Tomorrow, Hope Harbor, United Way, Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and more. In addition to his community involvement, Mike enjoys speaking with college students, sharing valuable insights and guidance to help them navigate their academic and professional journeys.
