Jakob Myers | Staff Intern

Jakob Myers is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Economics and Legal Studies and a minor in History. An Omaha native, Jakob cares deeply for the people of Nebraska and the state’s success, believing that Platte can and has impacted that success. Having worked for Senator Pete Ricketts, former Attorney General Doug Peterson, and several local businesses, Jakob hopes to contribute to Platte’s vision of seeking to establish growth and opportunity across Nebraska. A UNO CBA Scholars Academy member, Jakob values academic excellence and plans to attend law school upon graduation. Outside of class and work, Jakob loves spending time with his wife and friends, reading any book he can get his hands on, and playing any sport he can, including golf, pickleball, spikeball, and football.
