Cynthia Hardin Milligan
Cynthia Hardin Milligan is President and CEO of Wood Stieper Capital Group and Dean Emeritus of the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is the past president and CEO of CMA, a consulting firm for financial institutions, and the past director of the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. She practiced law for a number of years as a senior partner with Rembolt, Ludtke, Milligan and Berger in Lincoln, Nebraska and as an associate attorney with Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin and Kahn in Washington, D.C. She has been an adjunct professor of law in areas of taxation and in banking at Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Nebraska College of Law. She is a past director of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank Board Omaha Branch.
Ms. Milligan has served on the boards of directors of Wells Fargo Company, Kellogg Company, Calvert Funds, Raven Industries, and Gallup, as wells as the boards of trustees of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (of which she is past Chairman), the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Humanities Nebraska Foundation, and the World Food Prize Board of Advisors. She has served on numerous community and national foundation boards of trustees and advisory councils. She has received numerous awards and honors including being inducted into the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame.
Cynthia is married to Robert Milligan. They are the parents of five children, five children-in-law, and seventeen wonderful grandchildren.
