These producers are a fraction of the over 1000 individuals who are now registered to operate cottage food businesses in Nebraska thanks to LB304.
In 2019, the Platte Institute worked with Senator Sue Crawford to pass the Nebraska Cottage Food Law. The passage of the bill allows creative Nebraskans to make the holiday season even brighter, by selling beautiful confections and other delicious gifts in their communities and beyond.
