State senators discuss ways to reform rules for Nebraska’s “Next Normal”
LINCOLN, NE – Today, Platte Institute Director of Government Relations Nicole Fox hosted a Virtual Legislative Summit panel with Nebraska state Sens. John Arch, Suzanne Geist, Steve Halloran, and Anna Wishart.
The program was a Regulatory Reform Roundtable, with each senator presenting ideas for regulatory reforms to assist businesses with adapting to life in the pandemic and the post-pandemic future.
At the program’s opening, Platte Institute Chief Executive Officer Jim Vokal also presented the Platte Institute’s 2020 Connie Brown Freedom Award to Omaha-area homecare business owner Marc Nda, for his efforts to end Nebraska’s competitor’s veto law for transportation services.
